ASCAP, The American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers awarded Bruce Craig Roter a  2011-2012 ASCAPLUS Award. The award, determined by a panel of distinguished musicians, is given to composers in recognition of recent performances and the prestige of their catalogues. This represents the 12th such award Roter has received.

THE CLASSROOM: A CHILDREN'S PEACE OPERA was premiered on January 26th at New Scotland Elementary School in Albany, New York  A second performance took place at the Massry Center for the Arts on the campus of The College of Saint Rose on February 2nd, 2011.  The performances were very successful and received special commendation by the Albany School District Board of Education.

 

UPCOMING PERFORMANCES:

 

A Camp David Overture (Prayer for Peace)  will receive its Pennsylvania premiere with the Lebanon Valley College Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Dr. Hannes Dietrich on Sunday, March 18th at 3 PM on the campus of Lebanon Valley College, Annville, PA.  For more information, contact the Music Department at 717-867-6275.  


Soundings, for Flute Violin, Viola, and Cello will recieve its world premiere on Friday, March 23rd at 7:30 PM by the College of Saint Rose Camerata at the Massry Center for the Arts.
